Industrials Surged 4.2%. Polaris Still Isn't Calling It Leadership.
Industrials returned +4.2%, the best of 27 tracked complexes, yet finished the week 16th of 20 on Polaris's 21-day leadership ranking — a strong week, not a change in leadership.
Gold Miners, Commodities Broad, Energy and Software held the top third of Polaris's equity ranking all week. Emerging Markets climbed from 8th to 6th to join them; Silver Miners slipped from 5th to 7th and out.
Uranium's signal did not hold. It entered Opportunity Watch as an improving setup on Wednesday; by Friday it was flagged as deteriorating, and it finished the week down 8.2% — the worst of any tracked complex — ranked 19 of 20.
Two risks stayed flagged on every session: leadership concentration and thesis invalidation. Market Stress read Elevated only on Thursday.
Two Releases, One Message: Inflation Firms

Both prints pointed the same way; the sessions did not: the S&P 500 fell 0.6% on Thursday and rose 0.8% on Friday.
Across the week, Industrials led at +4.2% and Uranium fell furthest at -8.2%. Of 27 tracked complexes, 10 advanced; the average equity complex returned -0.9% and the average crypto complex +0.4%.

The Week Ahead
- Leadership was stable, not static: four complexes held the top third all week, while the changes Polaris could measure came at its edge.
- Early signals still need the week behind them: Uranium entered Opportunity Watch on Wednesday, then finished the week down 8.2% and 19th of 20.
- Not every alarm lasted: Market Stress read Elevated on Thursday and did not repeat.
- Emerging Markets: on the watch for 3 of 4 sessions and now in the top third. The question is whether it stays there.
- Insurance: on the watch since Thursday and up from 17th to 9th. It has not reached the top third.
- Mag 7: in Opportunity Watch on Friday only. One session is not yet a pattern; a second would start one.
- Pipelines and Semiconductors: both left Opportunity Watch during the week. A return would matter; continued absence would confirm the fade.
- The read holds if Gold Miners, Commodities Broad, Energy and Software keep their places in the top third next week.
- It weakens if that group gives up rank broadly, or if the complexes that emerged this week fail to reappear.
- It changes if Emerging Markets slips back out — that would say this week's move into leadership did not stick.
