Isaiah 43:18-19 · a new thing

"Do not remember the former things… Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth… I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

Try to remember that GOD doesn't need our approval for what "a new thing" is. We might think this or that, but God's ways are not our ways. Our job is to trust and believe. Be aware of deception and use discernment. Believe and be prepared to receive miracles in the midst of massive judgment. Maximize the ups and minimize the downs, and rely on the LORD. And stay humble — we are not special, we have been chosen. There's a difference. Remain a servant.

Psalm 119:105 · one step at a time

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

Drive across country at night and you can only see as far as the headlights. You don't need to see California when you're in New York — you just need to see the next turn, the next obstacle. God is the light to our feet and our path. Take Him at His word. Trust and believe Him one step at a time. It's "need to know" information — we don't need to know everything. We just need to know what's next. Read and listen. He is speaking.

Proverbs 18:10-12 · a strong tower

"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe… Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, and before honor is humility."

Humbleness or haughtiness? The world and all their "experts" appear to be setting themselves up for a fall. Many have made "science," "safety," "compliance," "comfort," and even "religion" their god. As for me and my family, we serve the LORD. We're watching a separation — those who believe and those who only say they do. Your walls of safety are not of this natural world; they're supernatural. The LORD is our refuge.
